Data protection information

We attach great importance to the protection and security of your data as defined in the German Data Protection Act and other data protection regulations.

A-ROSA collects and processes your personal data so that we can offer you professional services. This includes recording data such as surname, first name, address, telephone number and, if necessary, email address and credit card number. In addition, for passages that cross borders, the international registration requirements require us to ask for your data, which we do separately as “Details for the waybill”. As the data may also refer to your fellow travellers, we ask you to make sure that these data are collected with the consent of your fellow travellers. You have the option on the “Details for the waybill” form to grant us your consent to use your data to create a personal user profile, based on which we will send you individually optimised product information. If you no longer wish to receive this information you consented for us to send you, please notify us in writing at the following address: A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH, Datenschutzbeauftragter (Data protection representative), Loggerweg 5, 18055 Rostock, or by email to service@a-rosa.de. Your data shall not be forwarded to third parties, unless this is necessary or legally prescribed for the purposes of processing your order. To protect your data against unauthorised access, we have implemented extensive technical and operational security precautions that are regularly checked and updated.
